CADC offers South Central Arkansas Transit (SCAT) services in 18 counties in AR to provide transportation to and from rural areas that previously had little or no
transit services. Transportation can include rides to and from medical facilities, shopping, personal needs, nutrition centers, etc. SCAT services include curb-to-curb service, SCAT also serves as the ticket agent for Greyhound in those counties
with that service. Clients that receive Medicaid and are eligible for Medicaid transportation may schedule trips to Medicaid providers for medical appointments at no charge. These appointments must be scheduled through the Medicaid scheduling number 1-800-385-9992. Clients traveling more than 2 counties away
from their home county will have to obtain a travel referral from their local
physician or referring physician before scheduling the appointment. All appointments must be scheduled at least 2 working days in advance. Appointments may be scheduled up to 30 days in advance.

El Dorado Express is a program that provides alternative transportation for senior adults who are 60 years of age and older in the El Dorado area. El Dorado Express will transport you to doctor appointments, the airport, or for personal shopping. Donations are welcome to offset operation expenses.
El Dorado Express will also provide transportation for those 40 to 59 years of age for a nominal fee. Trips out of town are a maximum of 300 miles round trip. (Little Rock, Hot Springs, Shreveport). Advance notice of 24 hours824 is required for local; 48 hour notice for out of town.

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides families with short-term fuel assistance. Persons receiving LIHEAP are connected to family development resources, which provides a link to long-term resources to help families become self-reliant. CADC’s Family Development Program offers Assurance 16, which provides (on a limited basis) a financial incentive to persons completing economic literacy workshops.
The Weatherization program is designed to make homes more energy-efficient and safe. It is a proven method of reducing high-energy costs and conserving energy in the home. Households can receive attic and wall insulation, weather-stripping of doors and windows, caulking and sealing cracks and holes, storm window installation, furnace retrofitting, and other measures to reduce home energy consumption. We are a nonprofit Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) for five surrounding counties. We see over 5,000 clients per year, half of whom have a serious mental illness. We accept Medicaid, Medicare and most insurance. OBHAW can offer assistant to those without insurance or are underinsured to help cover the cost of treatment. We also offer a sliding fee scale for those that qualify.
OBHAW offers an array services to children, adolescents, adults, couples in a warm, safe and supportive environment as well as Tele-health services. Some of the services offered are Outpatient Therapy, Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Management, Outpatient Substance Abuse counseling and Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Abuse, Psychological Testing, Child Parent Psychotherapy, EMDR, School-Based Services, Care Coordination, DASEP (for DUI/DWI offenders), Children’s Services Program (including an intensive daily children’s program for those who qualify), many supportive classes/groups and we assist the homeless in their transitioning off the streets.
